MobiMate Announces WorldMate Expense, New Desktop Companion
The WorldMate Platform Now Includes Travel Expense Management Lod, Israel August 29th, 2005 – MobiMate ® , the leading provider of travel services for mobile devices, announced today the release of two new products – WorldMate Expense for Windows Mobile, and version 3.0 of WorldMate Desktop Companion for Windows desktop PCs. Both products feature travel expense management and reporting. This extends the WorldMate product line into expense management – making WorldMate a full 'Travel & Expense' suite. MobiMate is also launching several product packages to cater for different travel needs – travel planning, on-the-road assistance, and expense reporting. WorldMate Expense is a handheld expense reporting application, allowing creation and entry of expense reports as they are generated – while traveling. It integrates an online exchange rate service facilitating support for foreign currency expense management. WorldMate Desktop Companion is a suite of travel planning and reporting tools, including itinerary planning, weather forecasts and world time, passenger management and various travel content. The new version adds expense reporting, including printing and exporting of expense reports in various formats, synchronization with WorldMate Expense and a Currency Converter with an on-line exchange rate service. Following this release, MobiMate will start selling these products packaged with MobiMate's award-winning and best-selling WorldMate Professional Edition. New packages include the Executive Travel Package, Travel Management Package and Expense Management Package. All products sell as yearly subscriptions entitling subscribers to upgrades and device or platform switching.
